In Bloom
I watched you grow
Shifting places with where I used to be myself
Pieces of our lives interchangeable, the good and the bad
Although alike in many ways, you are still your own person
I’m so proud of everything you accomplished
In your situation I couldn’t have done half as much
My time has almost come
Just know that I’ll love you even as I disappear
As I came from nature, so do I return to the garden
Now that your heart is in bloom
Step back,
Look at what you've done!
Everything was okay,
Till you came along.
No--stop it!
Don't try to console me,
These years falling down my face,
Are entirely your fault!
Just shut up!
My heart is already broken,
And stepping on the pieces,
Isn't helping anything!
Go away please,
Just leave me be.
To pick up these pieces,
And try to put a heart back together.
I can't heal if you're here,
So please,
Just leave or at least,
Take a step back.

Something has gotten me tonight
I want to take the razor to my wrist
I want the world to stop spinning and
Crumble from underneath my feet already
I don't want to see your eyes anymore
Staring at me, at my flaws
I want a whole bottle of
medicine in my stomach to end
My pain in acid raining from my
Mouth
I want a gun
New and shiny, black preferably
To put to my head
I want to end screaming
Bloodily into the night
Footsteps running down the stairs
In fright
For something has gotten me tonight
Me, myself
From the beginning life always had a plan, to create the universe with it's own span.
To evolve and watch itself grow, as it spawns for it to bestow.
To work it's artistry on a canvas for all to see
As it gives birth to a new soul and gives it meaning, purpose and a goal
New lives that start to evolve through life that they revolve
Like a movie already told life leads the way until it's motives unfold
As it tells it's story like a biography we journey through our own history
Life watching us and controlling our fate like a scriptwriter determining our casting date
Without rehearsals we take the lead of our own stories as we proceed
To act
As I look out the window and see the clouds of smoke
People are leaving their house,
With their face drained of hope
Close by I see people crying,
In the distance I hear people screaming
The worst is happening,
Only this time we’re not dreaming
The faithful are gathering,
Holding hands and praying
The tainted are bargaining,
Taking anything that can be taken
The weak are jumping off buildings,
Leaving blood on the pavement
Large scale of suicides
Whether by knife, gun, or hanging
It’s anarchy out there
And it has only begun
I’m damned to the flames
Because my sins can’t be undone

The Boys With Stars In Their Eyes
The darkness is gone,
His eyes,
Like starlight,
Illuminate the skies,
Their brightness shown as
Sparkling joy,
That of loving,
A boy.
His hand is held gently
By the one
Who he loves,
Nothing is done
To arrest their affection,
Because who
Would truly
Wish to?
The boy who's eyes shine,
Like starlight,
Looks to
Their bright
Counterpart in the
Unbroken sky
Of the eyes of an ally
In love.
When you’re like me,
Insanity lurks in the room.
Empty pain bottles litter the floor.
Walls have holes.
The air smells of drink.
When you’re like me,
The voices don’t stop.
Reflective surfaces burn.
Dark corners are home.
Skin still heals.
When you’re like me,
You wonder why.
Why it’s so easy to give up.
Why perfection eludes reach.
Why you strive for it each day,
And are never satisfied.
If you’re like me,
I’m sorry.
For looking down on us all
And for keeping us safe
For each time we almost fall
But you keep us in place
For when we never know
Which path we're meant to take
For how you help us to grow
With a pride paired with grace
I will just thank you all
With your bodies aglow
For always taking the call
For always getting us home
